In response to Governor Whitmer’s Executive Order 2020-21 (COVID 19):

Vac World will remain open as part of the essential critical infrastructure workforce as
described by the Director of the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency
in his guidance of March 19, 2020 on the COVID-19 response.


Included in essential infrastructure workforce:

“Workers such as plumbers, electricians, exterminators and other service providers
who provide services that are necessary to maintaining the safety, sanitation, and
essential operation of residences.”


“Support required for continuity of services, including janitorial/cleaning personnel.”

​

Additionally:
 

  • Business will be conducted over the phone or internet whenever possible.

  • Curbside pick-up and delivery will be used whenever possible.

  • Staff will be reduced to the number critical to support daily work.

  • No more than five people will be in the store at once.

  • When in-person work is required, social distancing guidance from the CDC will be practiced.

  • Cleaning standards at the store have been increased.

  • An employee will only report to work if he is in good health.

  • Hours may be reduced and appointment options will be available. (check website for hours)
